These terms govern your use of gettapeworm.com, tapeworm.app and any related service (together, “Tapeworm”) provided by Vanguard Point LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By using Tapeworm you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Tapeworm is an information and education tool. It displays market data and derived levels, shows the distance between your account and rules published by your prop firm, and computes statistics from trades you have already made. Tapeworm does not provide investment, trading, legal or tax advice, does not recommend any trade, and cannot place, modify or cancel orders. Every decision to trade is yours alone. Read the Risk and Disclosures page; it is part of these terms.
Rule presets are modeled from each firm’s published terms as we understand them on a given date. Firms change rules, apply them with discretion, and compute balances from data we may not see. Your firm’s own dashboard and agreement are the record. A distance shown in Tapeworm is an estimate, not a guarantee that you are inside a rule.
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done under it. Broker connections must be read-only; do not give Tapeworm credentials that can trade. One person per account unless a plan says otherwise.
You own your fills, notes and other content. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it back to you, and to include it in anonymised aggregates. You can export or delete it at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Refunds are given for billing errors and where the law requires them. Early-access and design-partner arrangements are free and may end at any time.
Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the data or levels; reverse-engineer the service; use it to build a competing data product; interfere with its operation; or use it for anything unlawful. Market data is licensed from exchanges and vendors and is for your personal use within the service.
Markets move whether or not Tapeworm is up. We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, timeliness or fitness for any purpose. Data feeds, brokers and firms can fail, delay or change without notice. Never rely on Tapeworm as your only view of your position or your account.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vanguard Point LLC and its members, employees and suppliers are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, breached accounts, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the service, even if advised of their possibility. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical. Sections 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
