Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated October 2, 2026 · Vanguard Point LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801 · hello@gettapeworm.com

These terms (the “Agreement”) govern your participation in the Tapeworm affiliate program (the “Program”) run by Vanguard Point LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Tapeworm”, “we”). By applying to the Program you agree to them, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If this Agreement conflicts with the Terms of Service, this Agreement controls as to the Program. In this Agreement “you” means the person or business that applies.

1. Joining the Program

You apply from your Tapeworm account. Every application is reviewed by a person, and we may approve or decline any application at our discretion, without giving a reason. You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding contract, and able to receive payments and provide tax information as described in section 6. Approval gives you a referral link and a referral code (together, your “Referral Tools”). One affiliate account per person or business. Our employees and contractors may not join the Program.

2. Referrals

A “Referred Customer” is a person who (a) creates a new Tapeworm account after following your referral link, within the link’s attribution window (currently 45 days from their last click on an affiliate link), or (b) has not been referred by anyone and applies your referral code at checkout. First touch wins: once a customer is attributed to an affiliate, that attribution is permanent and is not changed by a later link or code. A referral link only attributes accounts created after the click; a person who already had a Tapeworm account becomes a Referred Customer only by applying your code at checkout, and only if no one referred them before. You cannot refer yourself, anyone using your payment details, accounts you control, or members of your household. Our records of clicks, sign-ups and attribution are final, except for manifest errors that we correct when we find them. You must raise any dispute about attribution or commissions within 60 days of the payment concerned; after that, our records are conclusive.

3. Commissions

For each payment a Referred Customer makes for a Tapeworm subscription, you earn a commission equal to the commission rate shown on your affiliate dashboard at the time the Referred Customer is first attributed to you (currently 25%), applied to the amount the customer actually paid, after discounts and excluding taxes. You earn on each subscription payment, whether monthly or annual, for as long as the customer remains subscribed and you remain an affiliate in good standing. Free-trial periods and other $0 invoices earn nothing. The rate frozen on a commission when it is earned is never changed afterwards. Commissions stop accruing when this Agreement ends, for any reason.

We may change the commission rate, discount, attribution window, hold period or payout minimum by updating the Program page and your dashboard. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any change that lowers the commission rate, shortens the attribution window, lengthens the hold period or raises the payout minimum. A change to the commission rate applies only to customers first attributed after it takes effect; other changes apply only to payments made after they take effect.

4. Hold period, refunds and chargebacks

Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment (the “Hold Period”) before it becomes payable. If the underlying payment is refunded, in whole or part, or disputed by the customer, the commission is reduced or cancelled accordingly. A partial refund of an annual or other multi-month payment reduces the commission in proportion to the amount refunded, even after the Hold Period. If that happens after the commission has been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your future commissions (a “clawback”). A negative balance carries forward and is not a debt we will pursue separately, except in cases of fraud.

5. Payouts

Commissions that have cleared the Hold Period are paid out once your cleared balance, net of clawbacks, reaches the payout minimum (currently $50). Payouts are made in US dollars, normally once a month, by the method we offer at the time (for example PayPal, Wise or bank transfer). You are responsible for giving us accurate payment details; payments sent to details you provided are final. We are not responsible for fees charged by your payment provider or bank, or for currency conversion. Balances below the minimum carry forward.

We may withhold or delay a payout while we verify your identity or tax information, screen against sanctions lists, or investigate suspected fraud or a breach of section 7. We cannot pay anyone who is on a US sanctions list or located in a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions.

If you have not provided valid payment and tax details within 12 months after a commission becomes payable, or you have had no Referred Customer payments for 12 months, we may close your affiliate account on 30 days’ notice by email. To the extent applicable law (including unclaimed-property law) allows, any balance still unpaid when the account closes is forfeited.

6. Taxes

You are responsible for all taxes on your commissions. Before your first payout we may require a valid tax form (for example IRS Form W-9 for US persons or W-8BEN for others), and we may withhold payouts until we receive it. We may issue Form 1099 or equivalent reporting, and withhold tax, as required by law.

7. How you may promote Tapeworm

Tapeworm is trading analytics and performance software. It describes market conditions and reflects a trader’s own numbers back to them; it does not recommend trades, provide signals, place orders or give investment advice. When you promote Tapeworm you must:

  • Disclose clearly, close to the link or code, that you earn a commission (for example “I earn a commission if you subscribe through my link”), as required by the US Federal Trade Commission and similar rules elsewhere. Where a platform offers a built-in paid-partnership or ad label (for example YouTube, Instagram or TikTok), you must also use it.
  • Not make performance claims: no promises or implications that Tapeworm will make anyone profitable, help them pass or keep a prop-firm evaluation, or improve results by any amount. Do not show profit and loss figures, account balances, funded-account or payout certificates, or trade results in content that promotes Tapeworm or includes your Referral Tools.
  • Not describe Tapeworm as signals, trade alerts, a trading system, copy trading, financial advice, or an official partner or product of any prop firm, broker or exchange.
  • Not send unsolicited messages (spam), including emails, direct messages or text messages, in breach of anti-spam or telemarketing laws such as CAN-SPAM and the TCPA, post your Referral Tools in places that prohibit them, or use misleading, adult, hateful or unlawful content.
  • Not bid on “Tapeworm” or confusingly similar terms in paid search, register domains or social handles containing “Tapeworm”, or publish your code on coupon or deal sites without our written permission.
  • Not use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, incentivised or fake sign-ups, or any other method that attributes customers you did not genuinely refer.
  • Not offer cash back, rebates or anything else of value to people for signing up through your Referral Tools, other than the discount attached to your code.
  • Not recruit sub-affiliates, or buy traffic from incentivised or resold-click networks, without our written permission.
  • Not present yourself as Tapeworm or its support team, or ask anyone for their Tapeworm, broker or prop-firm login details or account data.
  • Comply with all laws and platform rules that apply to your promotion.

8. Our brand

While you are an affiliate in good standing we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Tapeworm name, logo and the materials in our affiliate kit, unmodified, solely to promote Tapeworm under this Agreement. You may not imply that we endorse you. All rights not granted are reserved. When this Agreement ends you must stop using the Tapeworm name and logo, except in content published before then, which you must remove if we ask.

9. Suspension and termination

Either of us may end this Agreement at any time by notice. We may suspend your Referral Tools immediately if we reasonably believe you have broken section 7 or acted fraudulently. While suspended you earn no new commissions. If you end the Agreement, or we end it other than for a breach, commissions already earned remain payable when they clear and reach the minimum. No commission is earned on any payment made after this Agreement ends, including payments by existing Referred Customers. If we end it for fraud or a material breach, unpaid commissions related to that conduct are forfeited. Sections 3 (for commissions already earned), 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.

10. Relationship

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship, and you may not make commitments on our behalf.

11. Liability

The Program is provided “as is”. We do not promise that tracking, the dashboard or your Referral Tools will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability under this Agreement is limited to the commissions paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim. You will indemnify us against claims, and any resulting losses, regulatory fines and reasonable legal fees, arising from your promotional content or your breach of this Agreement.

12. General

We may update this Agreement by posting a new version with an effective date and notifying you by email at least 14 days before that date; continuing in the Program after that date means you accept it. If you do not agree, you may end this Agreement before that date. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and the courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign this Agreement without our written consent; we may assign it to a successor or affiliated company. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your Tapeworm account; notices to us must be sent to hello@gettapeworm.com. This Agreement, with the documents it refers to, is the entire agreement between us about the Program. Questions: hello@gettapeworm.com.

13. Customer data and confidentiality

Your dashboard shows limited information about Referred Customers and commissions. You may use it only to manage your participation in the Program, and you must not use it to identify, contact or market to Referred Customers. You must keep it, and any non-public information we share with you (such as unreleased features, pricing or Program changes), confidential during this Agreement and for two years after it ends.

Tapeworm is education and information. It describes market conditions and reflects your own trading arithmetic back to you. It does not recommend trades, route orders, or provide investment advice. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss. Prop-firm rules are modeled from each firm's published terms; the firm's own dashboard is the record.
